Coldplay are "looking at" a bail out to save recently defunct charity Kids Company, according to their manager.
The band have been staunch supporters of Kids Company and its Treehouse project, which offered "practical and emotional support for exceptionally vulnerable children, their families and young people" - at one point, they even donated £10 million.
The charity, founded by Camila Batmanghelidjh, has been closed amid accusations of financial mismanagement and is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police's Sexual Offences, Exploitation & Child Abuse Command.
Despite this, Phil Harvey, the band's manager insisted: "It’s very early stages, but we’re not going to give up on the centre without looking at all options for the future."
Meanwhile, Coldplay confirmed details of their seventh album, A Head Full Of Dreams, in May. A note posted online read: 'Hello everyone. We are in the studio working on A Head Full Of Dreams'.
