Iggy Azalea has denied recent accusations that she has been using heroin.

The Australian rapper responded on Twitter to a series of photographs posted online that appear to show ‘track marks’ on her hands - a possible sign of needle use.

Iggy was apparently shown the photos by her fiancé Nick Young, shortly after the couple landed in Australia.

Azalea wrote on Twitter, "Just landed in australia and iam dying with laughter because nicks just showed me an article that says im a heroin addict. WHAT?! LOL. [sic]"

She then explained that the hand marks were actually "scratches from @AleHerself's evil cat that attacked me the other week."

Azalea recently revealed that she’s finished work on six songs that will appear on her next album. She also previously stated that a whole album's worth of material was abandoned during her work on the follow up to her debut studio album, The New Classic.

Earlier this year, a petitioning urging Iggy Azalea to be stripped of her ‘Top Rap Song’ award at the Billboard Music Awards gained over 21,000 signatures.

There was also a huge Twitter backlash to Azalea's fifteen second cameon in the latest Fast and Furious movie.
