Mumford and Sons have starred in a mockumentary sketch about their previous boyband stardom with TV host, Jimmy Kimmel.
The five-minute behind-the-music parody looks at the rise and fall of 1998 heart-throbs, Mumtown, now known as Mumford and Sons. Marcus Mumford reveals his past identity as 'Marcy Marcus' and Jimmy Kimmel plays the part of chief-songwriter 'Mum'.
The clip shows a few snippets of Mumtown's greatest hits including 'Package 4-U', 'OMGUHOT' and 'I Am My Heart'. Speaking on their previous project, the Mumford leader said: "we were really young", whereas banjoist Winston Marshall admits: "I've put it behind me, I don't really want to revisit it."

In more recent Mumford happenings, the band were joined onstage by Blink-182's very own Mark Hoppus as well as tour-mates, The Vaccines and Jack Garratt, to perform a cover of Eurythmics' 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)'.
Mumford & Sons released their third studio album, Wilder Mind, back in May, when it topped both the US and the UK albums chart.
