An Irish photographer has been allegedly assaulted by Glenn Danzig after breaching the frontman's strict 'no photography' policy.
This isn't the first incident of Danzig doling out some five-finger justice to any patron brave or stupid enough to try and capture the man himself in a photograph. Earlier this year, the ex-Misfits member threw a fan into a headlock for snapping a quick pic.
Now, an photographer named Neil Danton has accused Glenn Danzig of assaulting him after a show in Montreal over this weekend. Dalton took to Facebook to express his anger at the frontman and his security team for holding the man's arms as Danzig punched him. He also shared a particularly gruesome picture of his face.
Here is Dalton's full account: "So I went to Danzig last night. Including the 100 dollars I spent on his merch plus the tickets time of work and traveling to Montreal to see him this is the price you pay for taking a photo of Danzig. He called me up on stage got got [sic] his pussy security guards to rough me up and held me back me back so he could hit me himself. Cops can’t do fuck all because we’re both not Canadian and they did it off camera and said I fell .could all my friends please share this because I want the world to know what a pussy the guy is. Superjoint [Ritual] fucking ruled [though]."
Metal Injection spoke to a few people from the Montreal show who didn't recall the exact same story. One fan says that Dalton was definitely called out but was never during beaten up at the show. It actually seems that Dalton was causing a huge raucous among the crowd and generally being a dick to everyone around him.
Danzig are yet to respond to the claims.
