Friday is a big day for fans of reunited boybands. Not only are tickets for Busted's tour on sale, but Take That's 2016 Hyde Park show, which forms part of British Summer Time Festival, go on sale at 9am.
The band, who actually reformed a decade ago after first splitting in 1996, recently revealed the first single, 'Get Ready For It', from their new album III. It's their first studio album since the departure of Jason Orange and Robbie Williams, its name alluding to their new status as a trio.
To celebrate the album's release, the band will be performing a massive gig at Hyde Park on 9 July, as part of British Summer Time. This summer, the festival hosted the likes of Taylor Swift, Blur and The Strokes.
“If someone would have told us in 1991 ‘hey guys in 24 years you’re going to be playing at one of the most famous parks in the world’, I probably wouldn’t have believed whoever said iT," said Gary Barlow of the forthcoming show. "We are thrilled to have been invited to headline Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park. The atmosphere will be amazing, I know that between us and the audience, there’s going to be an incredible energy."
Take That play British Summer Time at London's Hyde Park on Saturday 9 July, 2016. Tickets are on sale from 9am and are available here.
