Music journalist and record label employee among Paris attack victims

Over 100 people were shot dead during Eagles Of Death Metal's gig

Music journalist Guillaume B Decherf and Mercury Records employee Thomas Ayad are among the 129 people confirmed dead as a result of the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night, during which Eagles Of Death Metal's gig at Le Bataclan was the worst hit.

The French capital has been in mourning this weekend after a series of killings were carried out by ISIS terrorists. The Stade De Frence and a restaurant were targetted, but the most severely affected was the concert hall Bataclan.

Partway through Eagles Of Death Metal's performance, shooting broke out in the venue, and though the band made it out safe, over 100 people were killed. The band's merch seller, Nick Alexander, was already confirmed to have died, but now details of more of the victims has emerged.

Guillaume B Decherf, who wrote for French music magazine Les Inrocks as well as Metro and Rolling Stone, died in the attacks. Thomas Ayad, product manager for Mercury Music, the French brance of Universal, was also killed.

Among the other victims were musician Zschoche Valle, tour bus driver Manuel Dias, violinist Kheireddine Sahbi, and Universal digital marketing specialist Marie Mosser.
