Justin Bieber has paid tribute to a friend who was killed in Friday's Paris terrorist attacks, during which at least 129 people were killed - around 100 of whom were attending Eagles Of Death Metal's Bataclan concert. The news has dampened the excitement of the singer's new album and 2016 tour.
The French capital, and the rest of the world, has been in mourning over the past few days, after ISIS terrorists killed hundreds of innocent people in simultaneous attacks at the Stade de France, a local restaurant and an Eagles Of Death Metal concert at the Bataclan.
The following day, while accepting his Halo Hall Of Fame Award, Justin Bieber broke down and told the crowd, "There’s been some sad things happening in the world right now, and I think that we should all honour that and just take one moment of silence for that, if you guys could."
Now, he's revealed his personal involvement with the attacks, tweeting, "Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy. He was a part of my team for years and I wish I would've had more time to thank him."

It's believed that Bieber is referring to Thomas Ayad, a 34-year-old who worked for Mercury Records, a division of Universal Music France.
Earlier in the week, Madonna paused her performance in Stockholm to make a tearful speech, telling the crowd, " They want to shut us up. They want to silence us. And we won't let them. We will never let them. Because there is power in unity and I do believe that as much chaos, and pain, and senseless violence and terrorism that occurs around this world – not just in Paris – as much of that does occur, there is more goodness in this world. We are here to prove it."
Meanwhile, Eagles Of Death Metal are currently climbing the UK charts after a campaign was launched to get their cover of Duran Duran's 'Save A Prayer' to No.1
