In a statement of solidarity with his band and the people of France, Josh Homme of Eagles of Death Metal has started taking donations for families of those that lost their lives during tragic events in Paris last Friday through his Sweet Stuff Foundation.
Sweet Stuff was originally created to provide extra support for children’s music programs and individuals in the music community who have health and disability issues.
From now and until 31 December, all donations made to the charity will be going towards helping surviving family members of those who were killed by ISIS at The Bataclan and throughout the rest of Paris.
People who donate $100 or more will be sent a limited edition “I Give” T-shirt. In a tweet announcing the plan for donations, Sweet Stuff said, “Thank you for a moment to pause. Now time to help. Please donate.”

Eagles Of Death Metal have canceled the rest of their remaining tour dates in the wake of the attacks that claimed the lives of a confirmed 129 people, as well as other bands like Colplay, U2, Prince and others.
The band also released a statement concerning the events and spoke of their grief for the people of Paris, while The Bataclan announced they would re-open and "will not surrender."
Music venues in Europe have announced immediate plans to tighten security at gigs, while Bob Dylan recently requested armed security at his two shows in Italy this week.
