For London, they’re following on in the style that they did with Carl Barat and The Jackals last year by having one South London gig and one North London gig with the same headliners. Former chart-toppers The Enemy and indie rockers The Rifles, who co-headline, will drive between South London’s Amersham Arms and The Nambucca in North London for acoustic shows.
Watch The Rifles live at The Garage below
It’s rare that we ever do anything acoustic...but with our friends at This Feeling (a force for good in band world) and Jack Daniels, we are incredibly excited to be playing two shows in one night on New Year's Eve in London town. "The perfect way to welcome in 2016!” said Tom Clarke of the Enemy.
Elsewhere, Reverend And The Makers - who are scheduled to tour with The Libertines soon - will play a stripped back set at the Rocking Chair in Sheffield. Meanwhile, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow will see a full live show by The View, who have knack for making crowds go absolutely wild with the indie/garage rock hits.
"We've not played Tut's for a while so it's going to be extra special playing there on NYE for This Feeling. Their nights are always legendary, and so will this, man”, said The View frontman Kyle Falconer.
The View have also been released as one of the many great support bands for the huge Libertines arena shows next year.
