Coldplay have announced a replacement date for a show the band pulled out of following the news of IS attacks in Paris last week.
The band were scheduled for a live performance at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles last Friday (13 November) but pulled out of the performance out of respect and reflection for the atrocities that were happening in the French Capital. The performance was meant to be streamed live via the streaming service Tidal. The band promised to reschedule, and have done so for this coming Saturday (21 November).
"Tonight's live stream for TIDAL & KROQ has been postponed out of respect for Paris", a message from Coldplay read that was delivered on the night.
The statement continued: "All tickets will be valid for the rescheduled show, with details to follow soon. For those of you already down at the venue and those on your way, we'll play a short set of old material so that your journey isn't wasted. We send our love and prayers to the people of Paris."
Coldplay have been announcing tour dates in preparation for the release of their upcoming seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams which is slated for a release on 4 December 2015 and will feature the new song, 'Adventure of a Lifetime'.

Coldplay haven't been the only musicians to react to the sickening events that transpired in Paris last week. Eight attackers from the Jihadist extremist group IS attacked institutions across the city of Paris including an Eagles of Death Metal concert.
Madonna has dedicated a performance of 'Like A Prayer' in solidarity for those that were lost. Deftones released a statement both cancelling the rest of their French tour and paying respects to the 120 people that lost their lives that night. Foo Fighters have, similarly, cancelled the rest of their tour out of respect.
Coldplay confirmed that they'll be returning to the stage to play live at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball at The O2 in London on Saturday 5 December - tickets are available here.
