Kendal Calling has revealed the first batch of acts for 2016, including headliners Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Rudimental, Madness and The Charlatans.

The festival, which takes place in The Lake District's Lowther Deer Park between 28 and 31 July, celebrated its 10th birthday last year, selling out 19 weeks in advance.

This year, as well as the aforementioned headliners, the likes of Catfish And The Bottlemen, Craig David, Everything Everything, Blossoms, The Big Moon and Rat Boy will perform.

Speaking of the band's sixth performance, The Charlatans' Tim Burgess said, ""As ever, I'm really looking forward to Kendal Calling. The sixth year in a row for me, the second time The Charlatans will have headlined and this year is the fifth year for Tim Peaks. It's going to be an extra special four days. See you there!"

The Lake District is absolutely stunning. It's hard not to be taken aback when you first arrive it Lowther Deer Park. It is literally the kind of place that you never imagine could exist within the flat and boring English countryside. It's a mountainous and atmospheric location that is unlike any other. There's an eclectic, boutique atmosphere - and losing nights by the lake or wondering into the forest for secret gigs are memories we'll never forget.

Kendal Calling takes place at Lowther Deer Park in The Lake District between 28 and 31 July. See the full line-up so far below. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (9 February) at 9am. Get tickets and more information here.
