After cancelling her Grammy performance last weekend due to illness, Rihanna has now pulled eight dates of her world tour, this time citing "production delays."
Following the release of her much-anticipated new album, Anti, last month, the singer battled a bout of bronchitis last week that put a stopper on her scheduled performance at the Grammys.
Now, she's said to have recovered from the illness, but has cancelled eight US tour dates, including shows in California, Texas, Arizona, Georgia and Louisiana. According to a source for Billboard, the show was having "production problems and wouldn't be ready in time, which has been known for a couple of weeks."
A spokesperson for Rihanna confirmed that "production delays" were indeed behind the postponement, though they didn't comment on whether that's been known for a number of weeks.
Assuming the kinks will have been ironed out by June, you can catch Rihanna on tour in the UK in summer. See full dates below. For tickets and more information, visit here.
