Family of late legend, Prince, held a private service in the singer's hometown of Minneapolis to say their goodbyes and to remember the singer's life and illstrious career.

Prince died of an accidental drug overdose on 21 April at the age of 57.

Cousin, Chazz Smith, told Kare-TV that Friday's service was held at a church in Minneapolis, whilst another private service is to be held in Paisley Park this Saturday.

His cousin has revealed that the past few months, since the singer's death, have been troubling. Preserving the singer's image has been a struggle with many fake stories being released about the late singer.

Smith has said that he's proud to be a relative of the singer, and hopes that the accidental overdose from painkillers will help others who are struggling with addiction to the drugs.

A public tribute for Prince will be held in October at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

In the midst of settling Prince's estate, it has been revealed that a man in his 30s is 99% likely to be Prince's son.
