Kanye West has been in talks with comedy legend Will Ferrell to make his life story into a film.
The Yeezus star, who recently released hit single ‘Fade’, has been in contact with Ferrell, and wants to create something funny as opposed to a traditional biopic.
A friend of West told the Daily Star: “He has been thinking about this this for a long, long time and he has been trading ideas with Will. Rather than take himself too seriously, he feels it has to be a comedy and not a preachy film."
The rapper has also gushed about the producer's hit movie Zoolander 2 and dropped hints he wanted to work with Will, who’s one of the richest comedian’s in the world with a net worth of $80 million.
West once said: "He is one of my personal gods. I would like Will Ferrell to play me in The Kanye West Story. Can you make that happen?"
Elsewhere Kanye West entertained the idea of him running for president in 2020, he told Annie Mac in an interview on Radio 1: “When I talk about the idea of being president, I’m not saying I have any political views, I don’t have views on politics, I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the (the) truth. If there is anything that I can do with my time to somehow make a difference while I’m still alive, I’m all for it.”
Social media users caught onto this idea, and #Kanye2020 began trending. West did not endorse either Trump or Clinton in the election this year.
