We've been eagerly awaiting new music to be released from Garbage, and we're in no doubt that they'll absolutely dominate 2016. However, the campaign for their huge new album has already got off to a bit of a shakey start. Check it out below.
Garbage delivered a blistering set at the KROQ Weenie Road festival in LA this weekend, but during a performance of 'Special', frontwoman Shirley Manson seemed to misjudge her footing a little, before striding straight off the stage - taking what looked like a pretty painful tumble.
A consummate professional and unstoppable force of nature, Manson did however recover immediately, brilliantly styling it out and rolling on with the remainder of the performance with her usual blend of grace and energy.
The band then took to Facebook to address the incident:
Garbage are currently gearing up to release their new album, Strange Little Birds on 10 June.
“To me, this record, funnily enough, has the most to do with the first record than any of the previous records,” Manson has said of the new material. “It’s getting back to that beginner’s headspace. In part, that’s a result of not having anyone to answer to.”
