This horrible Brexit parody 'Britain's Coming Home' video has gone viral

Whether you're voting stay or leave, this is horrendous

Whether you're voting in or out when the 'Brexit' poll comes for the EU referendum, I think we can all agree that the idea of being stranded on an island with these two women is a cause we can all rally against.

A 'parody' of 'Three Lions' by The Lightning Seeds with David Baddiel and Frank Skinner, 'Britain's Coming Home' sees Ukip supporter Mandy Boylett and her friend tunelessly moaning and timelessly shuffling in front of a British flag as they disturbingly translate their 'passion' for leaving the EU into a stomach-churning dirge about fish and voting prisoners - also featuring a sick verse from Nigel Farage.

Apparently 'Britain's Coming Home' - as opposed to whever we were before.

David Baddiel writes in his brilliant response to the track: "Boylett is also a modern pop artist. She understands that in contemporary culture, it’s not just about the words and the music, it’s also about the look. And you can talk Lady Gaga, or Madonna, or Kanye – hey, you can talk Bowie – but have any of them thought about singing about the downside of the Schengen area while dressed in spangly union-jack leotards, somewhat over-tight shorts and the strangest socks (they might not be socks) I’ve ever seen?"
