Pretty Vicious have unveiled the video to their raucous new single 'Blister'. You can watch it first on Gigwise below.
The four-piece aged 17 - 19 come from Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, the former iron capital of the world. These feral youngsters are a welcome spark of life helping the town out of its post-Thatcher comedown and invigorating a growing creative scene.
The band became subject of a bidding war from major labels after thier first gig in The Redhouse, the regenerated town hall there. The video to 'Blister' shows why they became so sought after before signing to Virgin EMI - they create some of the wildest mosh pits any band outside of heavy metal can muster these days.
The band's self-confidence is evidently infectious as there's a real great sense of comradery among the fans filmed in this video which is made up of lo-fi fly-on-the-wall footage of them playing in tiny clubs.
The band don't look set to play the small venue circuit for much longer, though. They've spent the majority of this year hunkered down in a basement studio with producer Owen Morris, who worked on Definitely Maybe by Oasis.
The producer is great fit for Pretty Vicious as their sound relates to the heavier Oasis songs. They'll be releasing the album early 2017, and on evidence of 'Blister' it'll be a smash and launch them into new heights.
