Well, no one saw that coming but with fourteen dates remaining, Justin Bieber has cancelled the rest of his world tour due to “unforeseen circumstances”. See? We told you that no one saw it coming.
In addition to scrapping a few dates in the US and his native Canada, Bieber has canned all of the gigs that were scheduled for the Asian part of the tour. Which will probably be for the best after Chinese authorities decided to ban Bieber from performing in their country due to past “bad behaviour”. It remains unclear whether this includes the accusations of Bieber lip-synching at the some of his recent gigs. But it’s certainly deemed bad behavior round these parts.
But yes… those cancelled dates. A statement on the pop sensation’s Facebook reads: ”Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last eighteen months.”
It continues: "He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates.”
Speaking to TMZ, Bieber elaborated by saying, ”I’m OK. I've been on tour for two years. Just resting, getting some relaxation. We're gonna ride some bikes. I love [my fans], I think you guys are awesome. Sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed, it's not in my heart or anything and have a blessed day.”
