Malcolm Middleton has announced a UK tour during March and April, hoping to spread his melancholy message throughout the British Isles.
The tour begins on the Isle of Mull on March 7th, to coincide with the release of his new album ‘Sleight of Heart.’ It takes in London’s Union Chapel before winding up in Newcastle on April 7th.
This is the fourth album from the former Arab Strap man and is showcasing a more intimate sound, following his audacious bid for the Christmas number one last year.
The record includes covers of tracks by King Creosote and Jackson C Frank, plus Madonna’s ‘Stay’. The Scottish solo star is calling this his “boo-hoo/wa-hey! period,” which sounds interesting.
