Chris Cornell’s former cleaner Elia Mora is taking legal action after claims Cornell and his wife treated the maid badly before the couple unfairly dismissed her.
The Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman fired Elia Mora last Christmas after five years of working for the couple from 2006 through the end of 2011. Cornell’s wife Vicky reportedly sacked the cleaner after she refused to return to the couple's home after her day's work was done.
Mora also claims in her lawsuit that she was unfairly treated all the time she was working at the couple’s home. She claims she worked 43 hours a week and without receiving any overtime. She also says she never got uninterrupted 30-minute lunches, and she never received uninterrupted 10-minute rest periods.
