Seasame Street's Cookie Monster has revealed his take on Icona Pop's summer hit 'I Love It' with, unsurprisingly, his own cookie themed twist.
The parody is accompanied by a cookie-come-disco themed video and replaces the Icona Pop tag line "I don't care/I love it", with his own lyrics "Me want it/But me wait", referring to the restraint he must exercise over his infamous lust for cookies.
Watch the video below:
The lovable monster somewhat unsubtley sings "Me get this feeling when me see a cookie on a plate/Me want to grab it want to eat it, me no can wait/But now me know that self control is something we must learn."
This follows from Sesame Street's decision to use Cookie Monster as a figure to teach children about eating in moderation following concern over record levels of childhood obesity.
