Jake Bugg has revealed that he is nearly finished recording his second album and fans could even expect to hear it before the year is out.
After a debut No.1 album, the Nottingham singer-songwriter has been working with producer Rick Rubin on the new LP and is keen to keep up the forward momentum.
Asked if he was concerned about releasing his second record too quickly, Bugg told Rolling Stone: "I don't really see any harm in it. It seems like the right thing to do. Might as well keep up the momentum, you know?
"In this time that I've been touring and traveling the world I had a lot of new experiences and opportunity. Why not write about it?"

The youngster has been one of the most-booked festival artists of 2013 with slots at T in the Park, Optimus Alive and a support set for The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park to name just a few.
Speaking of working with Rubin, Bugg added: "I'll take some ideas to him and he'll be like, 'Why don't you repeat that line?' As an artist you can get quite defensive about your work. But it never feels like Rick's imposing on that. He likes to try and get the best of an artist."
