Spiritualized and Spaceman 3 supremo J. Spaceman, A.K.A. Jason Pierce, has released a complete reworking of Australian electronic band Cut Copy's new single 'Free Your Mind'. The song is the title track from Cut Copy's forthcoming album, released on 4th November on Modular Records.

While the original version has Cut Copy's trademark driving electronic beat and Dan Whitford's David Byrne-esque vocals, Pierce's vision of the song strips down the melody to the bare bones. It is dripping with the trademark Spriritualized atmospherics and it is unmistakably Pierce whose vocals shine through towards the end of the track.
The 'Free Your Mind' single is available worldwide today. The Spiritualized version is available with the single, along with a reworking from Fort Romeau. The video is notable for featuring Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood fame playing the role of a charismatic cult leader in various states of undress.
The band are touring extensively in the US to promote the new album but are only have one date scheduled in the UK, the sold out show at The Oval Space in London on 26th November.
