Rizzle Kicks have spoken out about their experience of hosting the infamous episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks where Huey Morgan smashed a mug and stormed off the set.
Fun Lovin' Criminals frontman and BBC 6 Music DJ Morgan grew increasingly frustrated during the filming of the programme, and erupted in rage after Rizzle Kicks teased him during the 'next lines' round.
"I'm not annoyed with him. We're huge Fun Lovin' Criminals fans," said Jordan 'Rizzle' Stephens in a new interview with The Guardian. "We've asked him to collaborate in the past. He just mashed up and came off really badly. It made good telly, but I'm not going to run to the shops to get him a Christmas card either.
When asked if the flying mug injured anyone, Jordan replied: "This is why we could jest. I wouldn't have approached it with the same cutting-edge comedy if a bit of porcelain had flicked up and hit [Huey's team-mates] Laura [Whitmore] or Phill [Jupitus] in the face. Thankfully, everyone came off unscathed."

Morgan later made light of the incident and ensuing controversy, by tweeting a photo of a worried looking puppy in a mug on twitter with the caption: "Oh s***! Huey's here?"
Team captain and the ever whimsical comedian Noel Fielding also took to twitter to confirm that "The mug is in hospital but on the road to recovery. The mug is getting a new handle from a dead tea cup who was a donor."
We all can say we're glad the mug's okay. Maybe Morgan will try and hold back his anger next time to save an unsuspecting tea pot.
