Pixies and James have been announced as headliners of this year's Summer In The City festival in Manchester.
Grunge icons Pixies will be supported by rising Brit-rock stars on Thursday 10 July, while Britpop heroes James will be joined by Starsailor on Friday 11 July. Gates to both shows will open at 5pm.
Summer In the City will take place at Manchester's Castlefield Bowl this summer, following the success of hometown legends The Courteeners' sold-out show there last year.
