Kylie Minogue may have changed the fortunes of BBC talent show The Voice, but it hasn't been quite enough for her to score a No.1 album, having been beaten to the top spot this week by George Michael.
Minogue enters the UK albums chart at No.2 this week with Kiss Me Once, her 12 studio album, behind George Michael - who makes a triumphant return to music, as his new release Symphonica debuts at No.1.
Other new entries in the UK Top Ten albums come from X Factor runner up Nicholas McDonald, who enters at No.6 with In The Arms Of An Angel, The Pretty Reckless, who debut at No.8 with Going To Hell and former Westlife star (who really did very little of the singing) Kian Egan, who enters at No.9 with his first solo release, Home.
Enrique Iglesias enters at No.11 with Sex And Love, Skrillex is new at No.13 with Recess, Glee star Lea Michele debuts at No.16 with Louder and The War On Drugs enter at No.18 with Lost In The Dream. Belinda Carlisle's latest hits compilation The Collection enters at No.24, American Authors enter at No.26 with Oh What A Life and Rend Collective debut at No.28 with The Art Of Celebration.
On the singles chart, Duke Dumont scores the second No.1 of his career, with new single 'I Got You', while Little Mix score a new hit with their 'Word Up' cover, which enters at No.6. Example's latest single 'Kids Again' is at No.13, while The Human League return to the charts with 'Don't You Want Me' after an online campaign by Aberdeen FC fans, and Trey Songz is new at No.20 with 'Na Na'.
