There's no doubt that Pharrell Williams is one of the best producers of the 21st century. Alongside production partner Chad Hugo, he's crafted some of the best tracks of the past decade. BUT THEY ALL BEGIN THE SAME.
Music blogger Discopop has noticed a distinct constant in a lot of songs Pharrell has produced. From his first credits on SWV's 'Right Here' all the way to Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' via Kelis' 'Milkshake' and Snoop Dogg's 'Drop It Like It's Hot', they all begin in the same way; four looped beats.
Three tracks from Pharrell's recent solo collection G I R L, 'Hunter', 'Gust of Wind', and 'Brand New' also share the same distinctive intro. Unsurprisingly, poor old Paloma Faith was also lumped with the same blueprint for her track 'Can't Rely On You'.

Whilst we're slightly shaken by these findings, we still love Pharrell. Hey, don't fix it if it ain't broke, right? Right?
