Download Festival kicks off tomorrow (13 June 2014) with thousands of rock and metal fans heading to Donington Park for a weekend of epic noise and, it seems, unbroken sunshine.
UK weather has taken a turn for the better in the past week in the South of England (take a look out of the window, it's lovely) and the warm weather is set to continue throughout the weekend for all festival-goers at Donington Park this weekend.
Friday is expected to be the hottest day of the weekend (according to information from The Met Office), with temperatures expected to reach a high of 22 degrees, while some cloud cover will give rockers some respite from the heat. There is the chance of some light rain throughout the evening, for the festival's headliners.
Saturday will see temperatures dip slightly, with a high of 18 degrees forecast, with a similar mix of sunshine and cloud cover for the second day of the festival. There is also the chance of some night time rain.
Sunday will bring increased cloud cover, with temperatures reaching 19 degrees during the day. There will be less sunshine, but likewise, there will also be less rain.
Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith headline this year's Download Festival, with other huge performances from the likes of Rob Zombie, Fall Out Boy, Bring Me The Horizon, Alter Bridge and Steel Panther also to look forward to.
