Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett crashed New York's Frank Sinatra School of the Arts yesterday (June 16) to surprise students with an impromptu performance and masterclass.
The collaborators and friends discussed jazz music and creativity in front of a 700-strong audience, with the conversation moderated by NBC presenter Lester Holt.
Gaga and Bennett then performed covers of Billie Holiday and Cole Porter, alongside a number of other classic American songs, before duetting on 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love', which they slow-danced to.
Veteran singer Bennett then praised Gaga to the audience, saying: "When I first heard Gaga sing, my reaction was that she is going to be bigger than Elvis. She is so bright and intelligent and she has it. In jazz you either got it, the syncopation, the rhythm or you don't, and when I heard Gaga I said she's got it!"

Having opened the school in 2001, Bennett traditionally attends the annual graduation ceremonies. This year, however, touring commitments have meant he's had to pull out of the event - so he came along for a surprise visit with Gaga instead.
The pair first collaborated for Bennett's Duets II album in 2011 for a cover of 'The Lady Is A Tramp'. They are now reportedly working on a jazz record together, tentatively titled Cheek To Cheek, which is slated for release later this year.
