Musical equipment that belonged and was used by the late, great Lou Reed has been put up for sale on eBay.
The Velvet Underground icon and solo star passed away last year, before it was later announced an archive that would catalogue and keep his tapes, photographs, artwork, hard drives, letters and more.
While much of more important gear has been stored, many of Reed's keyboards, amps, processors, guitar pedals and more can now be found up for auction on eBay. The money raised will go towards improving and expanding the archive.
Reed died of liver failure on Sunday 27 October, 2013, aged 71. It has since emerged that Lana Del Rey was planning to record with him on the day of his passing.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Del Rey explains that 'Brooklyn Baby', one of the songs from her Ultraviolence album, was written with Reed in mind.
The singer told The Guardian that she had flown out to meet Reed: "I took the red eye, touched down at 7am... and two minutes later he died."
