Lana Del Rey is celebrating after scoring her second UK No.1 album with latest release, Ultraviolence.
Her critically-acclaimed sophomore LP outsold nearest competitors Linkin Park with The Hunting Party by almost two copies to one, record the Official Charts Company.
The news comes after a tumultuous week for Del Rey, aka Lizzie Grant, after she hit back at The Guardian - branding them as 'sinister' after running an interview under the headline quote "I wish I was dead already."
The Guardian then posted a response that include an audio snippet of said quotes.
Elsewhere in the albums chart, Sam Smith is at No.3 ith In The Lonely Hour, Colplay find themselves at No.4 with Ghost Stories and Glastonbury headliners Kasabian slip to No.5 with 48:13.
