Former LCD Soundsystem frontmanJames Murphy has been named to produce the soundtrack for Noah Baumbach's new big budget film, While We're Young.
Murphy and Baumbach have previously worked together on the film Greenberg in 2010. The soundtrack included original songs and tracks from artists including LCD Soundsystem and Duran Duran.
Also involved in the film is Beastie Boys member Adam Horovitz aka Ad-Rock. The rapper will be starring alongside movie stars such as Ben Stiller, Amanda Seyfried and Naomi Watts.

This isn't Murphy and Horovitz first encounter either. The LCD man used to be a roadie for the Beastie Boys, and Horovitz stated in an interview with Vulture that Murphy once broke his fridge. Horovitz said "he stayed at my apartment a long time ago and broke the refrigerator and didn’t get it fixed. I had to fix it."
Rumoured to have a $10,000,000 million budget, IMDB have described the film as "an uptight documentary film-maker and his wife find their lives loosened up a bit after befriending a free-spirited younger couple."
While We're Young is expected to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2014.
