Phantom Radio, the new album from former Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan is now streaming online in full. Check it out below.
Due for release on 21 October, it's a pretty interesting listen. The album may be inspired by listening to Krautrock and 19880S new wave on the radio, but it's been brought to life in a decidedly 21st Century manner: Lanegan used an mobile app called 'Funk Box' to compose the drum parts.
As for his influences this time round, the singer himself explained that the band used to listen to "Echo And The Bunnymen, Rain Parade, the Gun Club" as well as "a lot of British post-punk....I just waited until I was in my late forties before I started ripping it off.”

Lanegan will kick off a European tour next year with a string of UK dates. Tickets and more information from here.
