Fans of detective shows everywhere rejoice, a Christmas album is headed your way that compilates the music from a slew of hit shows.
Menacing songs from Wallander, The Bridge, True Detective, Twin Peaks, Peaky Blinders and Breaking Bad are all included on Fade To Black.
The 23-track compilation will feature sleeve notes from crime fiction writer Ian Rankin and is due for release 27 October.
“There are sounds here to spark the imagination," says Rankin, "tunes filled with tension and intimations of horror, quickening the pulse or lulling the listener into a false sense of security. So sit back and let the darkness embrace you.”

Songs featured on the album include 'Way Down In The Hole' by Blind Boys Of Alabama, from a certain show called The Wire, Hope Sandoval’s 'Paradise Circus' from Luther and Choir Of Young Believers' 'Hollow Talk' from The Bridge.
