Gwen Stefani has been accused of ripping off her new single 'Baby Don't Lie' from Swedish singer Ji Nilsson. Hear the two tracks below.
Fans of Nilsson have pointed out that the similarities between Stefani's latest offering and a song called 'Heartbreakfree' may seem pretty strong."People all over the internet are saying [Gwen Stefani's] 'Baby Don't Lie' sounds just like my previous single 'Heartbreakfree'! Do u agree?," Nilsson tweeted.
While the production is similar in cerain areas, it's eye-rollingly dull to hear of yet another rip-off, when the simple fact is that there are only so many musical arrangements in existence. Additionally, certain production programmes and plug-ins will also create similar sounds.

The differences between the two are also fairly pronounced, one is downbeat Swedish electro, the other is beefed up American pop. Any likeness between the two songs lies in the production and even then it's fairly minimal.
One might have influenced the other, it might not have. So what?
