Royal Blood have postponed a trio of UK shows this week due to illness. Full details are below.
Fresh from performing at the MTV EMAs, frontman Mike Kerr has been diagnosed with severe tonsillitis, and thus has been advised not to perform this week on medical grounds.
Tonight's show in Portsmouth (10 November), tomorrow in Oxford and Wednesday's gig in Bristol have all been postponed until further notice, with the duo expected to announce rescheduled dates soon.
This trio of dates were the last in this current tour, it is currently unknown as to how this affects the duo's run of shows in December.
This unfortunate incident rounds off an otherwise storming 2014 for Royal Blood, who have had an ascent to fame like no others this year, their debut album earning a Mercury Prize nomination and seeing them dominate festivals around the country all summer.
Royal Blood will be hitting the road again properly in February 2015 for an extensive UK tour. Full dates are listed below, for tickets and more information visit here.
