Former pop star Gary Glitter has denied 10 sex charges held against him in court.
Appearing at Southwark Crown Court this morning (11 November), the ashamed singer pleaded not guilty to the series of offences, allegedly committed in the 1970's/80's.
The 70 year old, real name Paul Gadd has 10 offences held against him, including six counts of indecent assault and one count of unlawful intercourse.
Gadd was also accused of using alcohol on one underage girl with the intention to "stupefy or overpower" for the purpose of sex between January and May 1977.
Judge Alistair McCreath told Gadd he would face trial on 12 January in a case that is expected to last three weeks.
Gadd, who is out on bail, provided no comment on the case outside of court.
