A Day To Remember were forced to cut their gig in Portsmouth short, after a fan was injured after falling from a balcony last night (Wednesday 12 November, 2014).
It was the first night of band's All Signs Point To Britain tour at the Portsmouth Guildhall, when fans saw one gig-goer "fly through the air: and land on the floor at the show.
The Portsmouth News reports that the gig was cut after just 30 minutes, so the fan in his late teens could be taken to Portsmouth General Hospital to be treated for serious head injuries and the venue evacuated, while police questioned those in attendance.
"After it happened, the next thing I knew he was being dragged to the sound desk and I helped help him over,’ said 22-year-old Thomas Welling, from Copnor. "At one point I had him on my shoulder, he was out cold. I have never seen this happen at a gig before."
The band then Tweeted:
Our thoughts are w/ the person who was injured at the show tonight in Portsmouth. Sorry we had to cut the set short due to the circumstances
