Bombay Bicycle Club have announced that their huge show at Earl's Court has now sold out - marking a fitting end for the last ever gig to take place at the venue.
The show on 13 December is not only the biggest of the band's career, but the last to take place at the iconic venue before it closes it's doors for good to be demolished.
"After we heard that we were going to be playing the last show at Earls Court we all felt quite conflicted," said guitarist Jamie MacColl. "There was excitement to be playing there and to have a place at the conclusion of the venue’s history; there was sadness too though, at the closure of one of London’s most historic venues.
"We’ll do our upmost to give Earls Court a fitting farewell."
Developers will be moving in to build four 'villages' and a high street, with over 7,500 homes and creating thousands of permanent jobs. The build is expected to take 20 years. Built in 1937 and hosting events in the 1948 Olympic Games, Earls Court has since seen countless legendary gigs from the likes of Queen, David Bowie and George Michael.
It's also known as the place where Muse cut their stadium teeth when they broke out of arenas to play one of their first major venue gigs there in December 2004.
The venue also hosted the Brit Awards from 2000-2010.
