Take That are the latest band to shun Spotify and partner with an alternative streaming service for their new album III, which will be released on Google Play Music.
A deluxe edition of the eighth album III (their first as a trio) will be available on the service exclusively from 1 December, complete with three exclusive bonus tracks.
Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will also attend an album launch party, hosted by Google Play Music, in London on 1 December. The album will not be released onto Spotify until January.
The band said in a statement: "We would like to thank Google Play for coming up with such a great, creative campaign around the release of an album we're extremely proud of. We also wanted to do something different for this release and are looking forward to seeing it come to life, kicking off with a very special album launch party on Monday for a small number of some of our biggest supporters."
Take That follow in the footsteps of Taylor Swift who removed her entire back catalogue from Spotify earlier this year. Billy Bragg then said the singer had "sold her soul to Google" - even though the tech giant and Swift's reps insisted that no deal has taken place.
