Bookmakers have suspended betting on Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' being No.1 this Christmas, with the release date of the single brought forward over a month.
The upbeat single, a collaboration with Bruno Mars, was originally set for release on 11 January 2015, but is available to buy now after a version of the track from this week's X Factor rose to top the iTunes charts yesterday (8 December).
Ladbrokes have now stopped taking bets on the single becoming Christmas No.1 later this month, whilst competing betting firm William Hill have started offering bets at 7/1, the third best odds after The X Factor winner's single and Band Aid 30's 'Do They Know It's Christmas'.

'Uptown Funk' was Ronson's comeback single of sorts after four years out of the spotlight, and is one of many collaborations on his forthcoming record Uptown Special, with Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, Hudson Mohawke, Miike Snow and a wealth of others also featuring on the release.
