Turntablist DJ Qbert has created the first interactive DJ decks in an album cover thanks to Kickstarter. Watch a demonstration below.
QBert’s Extraterrestria album features a set of working Bluetooth MIDI decks and controls that connect to iOs and OSx. Incorporating the DJAY app and using designs from Brooklyn's Morning Breath, the user can then scratch, mix and fade any songs they load into the software.
This is by far the most adventurous devise Novalia have ever done - this summer they had to rewrie the code severa l times due to Apple and Bluetooth updates.

Extraterrestria is QBert's first album in 15 years, the follow up to his gamechanging Wave Twisters. Among its numerous guests, the album also features Chad Hugo of the Neptunes.
