Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Johnny Marr, The Stereophonics and The Who are all set to play the annual Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall.

Marking the 15th anniversary of the first shows at the venue, the line-up is particularly strong this year. Paul Weller and Johnny Marr share a stage on 27 March while Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are being supported by Future Islands the following night.

It is also particularly gratifiying to see The Who appear united on the bill, backed by Wilko Johnson, who offers proof if any was needed of the real possibility of beating cancer. Also appearing will be The Stereophonics, Kevin Bridges and Van Morrison.

The Who's Roger Daltrey said of the announcement: "To be back for our fifteenth year at the Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust is an incredible achievement. This is all made possible by the loyalty of the music and comedy business. Paul, Noel and Kelly were there for the first event, and many thereafter. I can't thank them enough for being back with us this year.

“I'm always amazed by, and appreciative of, the support given to the charity by the new artists each year, who recognise the importance Teenage Cancer Trust’s work. As well as increasing the charity's profile, the money the shows raise is invaluable in helping young people with cancer, and in return for that hard earned cash we always strive to put on some very special shows.”

Tickets on sale 9am on Friday 30 January. For tickets and information, visit here.

The lineup is as follows:

23 March - Stereophonics plus guests
24 March - A night of comedy with Kevin Bridges
25 March - Van Morrison plus very special guests
26 March - The Who plus Wilko Johnson
27 March - Paul Weller plus Johnny Marr
28 March - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds plus Future Islands
