The full lineup for BBC 6 Music Festival 2015 has been revealed, featuring some of the alternative world's biggest names.
Revealed throughout the week on the radio station, it has been announced that Mogwai, The Charlatans, Jon Hopkins, Gruff Rhys, Hot Chip, The Cribs, The Maccabees and Jamie xx will headline various venues around Tyneside over three days next month (20-22 February).
Elsewhere on the lineup, the likes of Royal Blood, The War on Drugs, Interpol, Simian Mobile Disco, Young Fathers, Jungle, Kate Tempest, Glass Animals will play the festival, which takes place between Newcastle and Gateshead.

This is the second year of the festival, with the inaugural event taking place last year in Manchester, headlined by The National.
Speaking about this year's event, a spokesperson for the radio station detailed "The 6 Music Festival is in two parts - the 6 Music Festival by Night at The 02 Academy Newcastle at The Sage, and the 6 Music Festival by Day. The 6 Music Festival by Day is a separately ticketed free event from 11am to 6pm on Saturday 21 February in The Ouseburn area of Newcastle & at the Cluny 1, Cluny 2, The Cumberland Arms, and The Star and Shadow. And on Sunday 22 February at The Boiler Shop in the Stephenson Quarter area of Newcastle."
