Passion Pit have confirmed details of their new album, 'Kindred'.

The album is expected to be released in April, while a teaser for the LP was released via YouTube last week in a video entitled: "That Flickering Light's Just A Flame".

Watch the video below.

The band recently uploaded a photo to their Facebook page featuring song titles on a whiteboard, suggesting a new album was on the cards.

News of 'Kindred' follows on from frontman, Michael Angelakos' ‘Somewhere' (uploaded to his SoundCloud under the name Eastern Shift) release earlier this year.

Passion Pit's last release was 2013 EP, Constant Conversions.
