Firefly Festival has announced Paul McCartney as its third headliner, alongside previously-announced Kings Of Leon and The Killers.
McCartney will be performing a staggering three-hour show of Beatles hits at the festival, which takes place in Dover, Delaware. The show, as Delaware Online reports, will use state-of-the-art technology, with "massive screens, lasers, fireworks, unique video content and, of course, the best songs in the world."
This will be McCartney's first ever performance in Delaware. Stephen Bailey, managing director of programming, said: "Delaware was off limits for Paul McCartney. It's not that he didn't want to come here, but we didn't have a big enough place to house a personality, a legend, a force of nature like that He's a Beatle. A Beatle is coming to Delaware. It's really, really cool."
The festival will also host the likes of Morrissey, Snoop Dogg, Foster The People, Bastille, Hozier, The Kooks, Run The Jewels, Charli XCX, Jungle, Raury, and Steve Aoki.
