A US teenager has found never-before-seen pictures of Nirvana in her Dad's copy of a Kurt Cobain biography. See the picture below.
19 year old Maggie Poukkula shared the series of photos, which belonged to her father (who "went to high school with Kurt and played with him before he got big"), on Twitter and Instagram.
Fans of the legendary grunge band seemed to link the photo to Nirvana's first ever gig, which supposedly took place in Raymond, Washington during the month of March 1987. Poukkula seemed unsure, answering: "I'm not sure. I have to ask my dad".
The picture is captioned, "Pictures of my dad and Kurt Cobain playing together back in the day", and shows a performance taking place in, most likely, a basement under shoddy lighting. Exactly what we'd expect from an early Nirvana gig.
