Foals played a Radio 1 Maida Vale session last night (July 21) and debuted a brand new track 'A Knife In The Ocean'. Check it out below.
Their new album, What Went Down is due August 28 and Foals aren't keeping quiet until then. Having already released the record's title track and 'Mountains At My Gates'. Suffice to say, we are very excited for this release.
The band tore apart Maida Vale studios to a modest audience of 30 people last night, their "most intimate gig since they played a kitchen in 2007".
A brand new track was aired entitled, 'A Knife In The Ocean' which is a six minute monster that starts serene and swells into a hulking post-rock instrumental. Explosions in the Sky was obviously playing in the rehearsal space during the writing period.
