Sufjan Stevens unveils new track 'Should Have Known Better'

Another taste of forthcoming album Carrie & Lowell

Sufjan Stevens releases new track Should Have Known Better Photo:

Sufjan Stevens has unveiled another preview of his forthcoming album Carrie & Lowell, with the beautifully sombre 'Should Have Known Better'. Listen to the track below.

Reminiscing about trips to Oregon with his family, Stevens sings "I should have known better, nothing can be changed, the past is still the past" as the video illustrates elements of the natural landscape.

Carrie & Lowell was previously previewed with 'No Shade in the Shadow of the Cross' and is shaping-up to be a reflective and folk-orientated affair, dealing with personal issues of love and loss.

The release will be Stevens' first studio-album in five years, and follows 2010's Age of Adz.
