Adam Levine accidentally hit a fan in the face with his microphone at a show in Toronto, after he became frustrated that the microphone stopped working and threw it to the ground. You can see it all on video below.
While playing a show with his band in Toronto Monday night, the Maroon 5 frontman grew frustrated when his microphone stopped working due to a PA system fail, so he threw the mic on the ground. It unexpectedly bounced off the stage, hitting a fan in the front row, Stephanie Green, in her face. Fortunately, she was fine, minus a little bruise.

Levine immediately went to check on the fan, apologised, and brought her on stage, letting her watch the remainder of the show from the side of the stage. “In my flustered state, I might have thrown my microphone on the ground and then it might have bounced off of the ground, into poor, sweet Stephanie’s face,” Levine said on stage. “I felt so utterly terribly that I had perhaps wounded this young fan.”
Speaking with City News Toronto following the incident, the bruised punter Green said: “The P.A. system crashed and no one could hear and then all of a sudden he dropped the mic, (and it) flew in my direction.”
“It’s just literally the best day,” she continued. “My dream came true. I never thought in a million years this would happen to me.”
